Cox Family Vineyard 3 bottles of wine to be shipped to the highest bidder anywhere in the state of Tennessee.  Approximate Value $100.

Wines included:

(1) 2019 JLC Heritage Blend: From three of our estate vineyards, this blend of 40% Malbec, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon is basically a Bordeaux in reverse. A bold yet approachable crowd-pleaser that's not as heavy-handed with the Cabernet! Each sister chose a favorite varietal, which is why three was the lucky recipe. Dusty blackberry bramble greets the nose and leads to juicy, dark fruit on the palate. Black cherry, wild blackberry, açaí, and sweet tobacco. This has been our best-seller since it's release!

BEST OF CLASS/99 pts. at the 2022 LA Invitational Wine & Spirits competition; DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL WINNER at the 2021 SF Chronicle Wine Competition

(1) 2020 JLC Malbec: Made solely for our wine club members, this single varietal red celebrates one of our youngest vineyards and is the juiciest of all our harvest picks. As the winner of this auction item, you are very lucky to get your hands on this special bottle! Argentina gets all the Malbec buzz, but we felt it was time for us Californians to showcase the grape! This is a fruity wine that delights the palate with juicy plum, black cherry, violet, vanilla and cola. We don't like to pick favorites, but this is a wine we're really proud of. We can't wait to see how this one ages, but are really enjoying it young right now. So many of our club members have told us this is their #1 favorite of all our wines!

(1) 2020 Boeket Sauvignon Blanc: Made from the organic grapes that surround our family’s 1856 farmhouse, this vintage has an expressive nose of Gala apple and citrus blossom, complimented by apple, apricot, a squeeze of citrus on the balanced palate. Crisp and refreshing - a total porch-pounder! We love the acidity with this vintage, especially since it makes for a very food-friendly white. Aged in neutral French oak and stainless steel.

Cox Family Vineyards is a small family-owned and operated boutique winery and ranch based in Ukiah, CA, about two hours north of San Francisco. Sisters Whitney and Lauren are eighth-generation farmers, first-generation winemakers who have created two labels, Boeket and JLC, to honor their family and the special land they were raised on. They farm certified-organic and produce minimal intervention wines that pay special attention to the purity of fruit and California style. Their most recent accolades come from the 2022 Los Angeles Invitational Wine & Spirits competition, sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, where they won Best of Class and 99 points for their 2019 JLC Heritage Blend and Gold for their 2020 JLC Chardonnay. While they do not have a public tasting room, they open their home ranch up to wine club members for special private events throughout the year.
